The beach is approximately a 2 to 3 minute drive! There is a traffic light where you can easily cross over to the public beach access with free parking!

House Rules for Dogs:
Must be crated if left unattended.
Must be cleaned up after.

Beach Rules for Dogs by Town:
Kill Devil Hills - Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 9am to 6pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day unless used to aid a individual with disabilities.
Kitty Hawk - Dogs must be leashed from 10am to 6pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day
Nags Head - Dogs must be leashed at all times. The leash should be no longer than 10 feet.

The host was definitely welcoming and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. The house was exactly as pictured. The back yard area was perfect for my pups to use the bathroom. It was perfectly located near any store you can name. My family enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.
