The Neighborhood:

On the River Great Ouse sits the famous mediaeval port of King's Lynn, which dates to the 12th century. The town is a treasure mine for history buffs, with large merchant homes, art galleries, museums, and the Custom House, a Grade I listed edifice that was constructed in 1683 by Henry Bell. The town retains its original winding streets and alleys, and boasts good shopping facilities, with a combination of national retailers and specialist shops, along with a selection of pubs and restaurants. The West Norfolk shoreline is easily accessible by car, and most of the surrounding Norfolk countryside has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Particularly Hunstanton is well known for its stunning beaches and sunsets. A number of locations along the coast provide boat excursions, and the Norfolk Coast Cycleway connects King's Lynn with Cromer. A short drive away is Sandringham, the magnificent rural residence of The Queen, and it is highly recommended that you stop by the spectacular Visitor Center there.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
The cottage was clean, comfortable and had many thoughtful extras, books, games, wine, biscuits, chocolates and milk etc. The shower was great and nice towels. Comfy bed and a great TV for the England match. Kitchen facilities good. No freezer compartment. There wasn’t a fan so we slept with the french doors open . It felt very safe. The outside area is lovely, very private and quiet. The location was perfect for us. We visited Sandringham, RSBP and the beaches. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
