Kingsley Cottage, Snettisham, Norfolk
Situated in the charming coastal village of Snettisham, Kingsley Cottage is the perfect example of a beautifully curated traditional carrstone cottage styled as a quiet retreat near the North Norfolk coast, and is a superb option for couples and small families that are looking to explore the wild coastline, for which the area is famed.
The ground floor of the cottage is dedicated to the living areas of the house and has been designed in such a way that you will be charmed by the attention to detail. This is exemplified throughout the comfortable sitting room and dining area, where you will be able to enjoy the tasteful patterns that complement the bespoke furnishing. The nearby dining room has been appointed with a dining table that can comfortably seat four people and is adjacent to the kitchen, which boasts a full inventory of kitchenware, and features modern appliances such as an electric oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine. Moving upstairs, you will find two quiet and comfortable bedrooms, both tastefully decorated and prepared with fine white linens. The second bedroom offers the flexibility of being converted into either a twin or a king double, depending on your preference - simply let the owners know in advance. Both bedrooms share a modern shower room, conveniently located just off the landing, ensuring easy access for all guests. Stepping outside, you'll discover the larger rear garden of Kingsley Cottage, fully enclosed to ensure privacy and safety. Here you will find garden furniture that is perfect for outdoor dining, allowing you to make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, a charcoal barbecue is provided, offering an opportunity for enjoyable al fresco cooking and grilling. For added convenience, there is off-road parking available for one car. To the front of the cottage, a smaller planted garden area has been adorned with charming old English roses and climbing plants.

The Old Store micro-bakery and cafe is a nine minute walk away, and boasts arguably the best coffee and pastries on the coast. Be sure to book ahead at weekends as its breakfasts are legendary! Opposite the cafe there is a chemist, hairdressers and second hand book shop. Snettisham is well-served by a Co-Op supermarket, just eight minutes from the cottage by foot. The excellent village pub serving fantastic food and real ales, The Rose and Crown is a short walk away, and also features a children's play area in the garden.
