The Dairy Barn is a fabulous coastal barn conversion imaginatively designed by a renowned local architect and used exclusively as a private family second home for the last ten years. We are delighted to offer this perfect place for a families and friends to stay with informal sociable living areas providing the ideal open space for cooking, eating and relaxing. The layout is ideal for two families with a main bedroom and a children's room each on the ground and first floors. The private garden is fully enclosed and safe for children and dogs, being ideally situated within a few minutes walk of the picturesque harbour in Burnham Overy Staithe and access to the coastal path. Ample off-road parking and an EV charger make travelling here even easier.

The Dairy Barn 3 bedroom version is available with bedroom 1 (super king), bedroom 2 (king size room) and a choice of bedroom 3 (triple room) or bedroom 4 full size bunk beds and a single bed.

Ground Floor

There's a stunning huge L-shaped open plan area with original beamed ceilings containing the kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Kitchen: superb full-height kitchen with an original tiled floor, high beamed ceiling and a central island. It's really well-equipped with a striking heather coloured 3 oven electric Aga with a 2 oven companion, an American style fridge/freezer, drinks chiller, Belfast sink, dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer and a built-in microwave. It opens into the wonderful dining area.

Dining area: lovely sociable place to eat with a huge wooden dining table which comfortably seats ten. This leads through to...

Sitting area: with an ornamental feature Scandinavian tiled stove (non-working) two leather sofas and two leather armchairs.

Cloakroom: with WC and hand basin.

Living room: a lovely relaxed room with a large comfy L-shaped sofa, big Smart TV, DVD player.

Utility Room: accessed down a few steps from the living room with access to the back door. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 3: with a king-size sleigh bed, bedside tables and lamps, built-in wardrobe.

Bedrooms 4: perfect for up to 3 children with full size bunk beds and a single bed.

Shower room: with a walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: lovely double aspect room with distant marsh and sea views. Furnished with a wrought iron super king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.

Bathroom: has a bath with shower mixer taps, hand basin and WC.

Bedroom 2: attractive room with a sloped ceiling containing 3 single beds, bedside tables, lamps and built-in wardrobe.

En-suite shower room: with a shower, hand basin and WC.

Please note; 3 Bedroom version is with Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2 and a choice of Bedroom 3 or 4 (please select at time of booking)

The bedding comprises of natural feather and down duvets and pillows.

Outside

Solid oak gates lead to the private shingled parking area suitable for at least 4 cars. There is an EV charger provided (please request at time of booking) and a £30 charge will be made to cover the use of electricity used.

The garden is completely enclosed by a high wall, making it impossible for dogs or small children to escape! The garden is lawned with a patio area with outside table and chairs and a gas barbecue.

It only takes a few minutes to walk to the harbour with a lovely walk along the coastal path across the creeks and out to the glorious unspoilt sandy beach. There's an excellent local pub, The Hero, only minutes walk away.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Holkham Bay. Enjoy your stay with amenities like a kitchen and 3 bathrooms in the cottage.
