You’ll be 3 miles from Kingsbridge, a vibrant market town with an eclectic selection of intriguing antique shops, art galleries and gift shops for you to explore.


Lovely rustic decor compliments the traditional charm of this homely dwelling, which has a number of original features including painted stone walls, wooden ceiling beams, window seats and latch doors. The light and airy summer room, which doubles as a dining area, is a lovely spot for relaxing with food or a book. Bi-fold doors open to reveal a delightful patio where you can soak up the sunshine and enjoy a glimpse of the nearby riverside. Whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which has Italian marble worktops for an elegant finish. After dinner, unwind in the cosy lounge, catching up on your favourite programme on the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, choose between a beautiful king room or twin bedroom, and there’s a charming family bathroom too for freshening up each day. Perhaps the loveliest feature of this home is the tranquil enclosed rear garden, where a grassy area leads down to a more secluded spot with a fire pit.


There are nearby public footpaths in the village, a short walk from the cottage, that will allow you to explore the beautiful Devon Countryside. Further afield, explore the Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve (5 miles), an impressive site where a large natural lake is separated from the sea by just a narrow shingle bar. Nearby beaches you may choose to visit are the wild Lannacombe Beach (6 miles) and Blackpool Sands (8.5 miles), which is surrounded by towering evergreens and pines.
