Woodcutters is a comfortable, luxurious fully-equipped cabin nestling in a quiet, sheltered valley only 1.5 miles from Bantham beach. Large enough for a family of six - loft bedroom only suitable for children or teenagers - but still cosy enough for couples to enjoy this beautiful cabin. Perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and yet still be near the tourist attractions of the south hams area of Devon. Five minutes away by car, Bantham beach is a surfers paradise and from there you can walk the coastal path in either direction as far as your feet will take you. The scenery is superb and there are many beaches and coves along the way. Further afield you can visit Salcombe, Dartmouth, Totnes, Noss mayo, newton Ferrers, Kingsbridge and many lovely villages.

Woodcutters is one of only six privately owned cabins in the idyllic setting of Buckland park. It is managed, maintained and continuously updated by its owners to provide superbly comfortable accommodation.

The cabin has been fully renovated and furnished to a high standard, and offers Wi-Fi. It provides very comfortable accommodation for six people, up to four adults + two children/teenagers in loft bedroom, as follows:

Steps lead up to the large entrance porch from which doors lead into a light and airy lounge with a three piece suite, TV & DVD, Radio and a cosy wood-burning stove. The windows look out onto the hillside where buzzards can be seen soaring over the grazing cattle. The modern kitchen which overlooks the pretty private garden has all new appliances including fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, washing-machine and pine dining-table with six chairs.

Leading off the lounge is a double bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets and a twin bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC, washbasin, shaver point and heated towel rail. There are electric wall heaters throughout the cabin.

Space saver stairs (‘paddle stairs’ type) from the lounge lead up to a large open plan loft bedroom ideal for teenagers and older children with velux windows and plenty of space for relaxing or playing. There are twin beds, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and clothes hooks. (This room is not suitable for very young children or babies)

Outside is a secluded sunny private garden with picnic table - a perfect place to relax in the evening whilst enjoying views of the hillside and listening to the babbling stream below the cabin.

As a guest of this cabin, you'll find a garden and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
