The hotel room and service was very good, but the hotel was undergoing some parking roof repairs with cement jackhammers being used from 7:30 AM Friday so we could not sleep past that time and the breakfast which was only from 7:30-09:30 was worse for noise due to the roof repairs. The hotel could manage this better to have the work started after people were finished breakfast at 9:30. The staff apologized for the inconvenience, but this was not a pleasant stay. When we checked in the staff member at the desk was very polite and helpful, but failed to advise me that the overnight parking cost $44 so I was a little surprised when I was charged for the parking. Not unusual, but normally one is advised. There is free street parking near by which was an option also.

The only hotel I book when going to Kingston, the breakfast options are great and it’s close enough to everything. The rooms are spacious and clean, this is my third time back to this hotel and I always never have a problem. Staff are always helpful
