Specifically chose this hotel because I enjoy having a kitchen when I’m travelling for work for an extended period of time. I found all the kitchen utensils and appliances to be quite used and appeared unclean. The staff was very helpful and providing a new coffee pot when I requested as the original one had a significant amount of rust inside the pot. Great location and friendly staff, just needs a little updating

As we walked in the Staybridge Hitel we were met by a young man with a welcoming smile, he was professional and courteous, which for us is the beginning of a great stay! The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, the scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious, the bacon and the breakfast sausages was cooked to perfection. We will definitely return to this Staybridge for all our future annual visits to Waterloo!

Loved the room!

The room was huge and lovely. There was a kitchenette and living room with a separate bedroom. The fellow who checked us gave me the impression that we were disturbing him. He was far from welcoming and warm for a front desk clerk. The breakfast was adequate for this type of establishment. We were there for 4 nights, a change of breakfast items during this time would have been nice. On our first morning a whole tray of glassware was barely clean and as was much cutlery. Staff didn't seem phased by this. I subsequently used paper glasses in order to ensure cleanliness

Overall the hotel was great. Very clean, modern suite. Excellent location. St. Jacobs Market, St. Jacobs Theater, Restaurant, and Stockyards Craft Brew all within a very short walk. Great for spot for visit.

We had a fantastic stay. Room was upgraded and it was a lovely surprise. The room was beautiful and spacious for our family. The only disappointment was the pool. It was intoxicating with chlorine and could only stay for a short time as it was too much. Overall a great stay though.

Great hotel - Pool is Meh

The hotel and the room was great. The service was great. The pool. Meh! Looked like a dirty bathtub and had way too much chlorine. So much that it burned your eyes while sitting around the pool. The door into the pool was propped open when we arrived to allow ventilation and the door to the outside was broken so you could not get air flow, but also a safety hazard. The pool has potential as it is geared to families with a splash pad and a wave blaster. But they need to get someone in to make the pool a top tier pool.
