Do not stay here!!!

Pros: The pool view was pleasant & a good range of breakfast on offer
Cons: Location, Room Quality & Cleaniness
We knew Phi Phi was a party island, so tried to find a hotel that was within budget & fairly quiet. After checking some reviews for cobble beach it seemed like it was a good choice as many had said it was on the quieter side of the island. This could not be further from the truth! The room was okay but the walls are paper thin, so you can hear absolutely everything from each of your neighbours. This hotel is based on the noisiest side of the island, you will be subjected to awful Eurotrash EDM music until 2am every single night. Ear plugs will not save you.. believe me I tried. Couple this with having to listen to drunken guests coming home afterwards & having noisy sex, it was unbearable to say the least!!!! The saving grace is the buffet breakfast is nice & the view from the pool is lovely but on the whole the place needs updating & the receptionist was particularly rude when we complained about the noise. If you have to stay in Phi Phi, then find a hotel on the other side near the pier as there are no beach bars on that side.
