We stayed at Kobe Plaza Hotel West and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel has its excellent location right on Motomachi shopping street, just a short walk from Motomachi Station and close to restaurants, shops, Chinatown and other attractions — making it ideal for sightseeing and exploring Kobe on foot.The beds are not small at all.

The room was not big but totally enough to stay and clean. You can drink coffee and tea at the 2nd floor anytime for free. All staffs are great!! Plus it’s easy to go to Chinese town. There are a lot of restaurants around this hotel.

In the room, the high touch surfaces were overall clean, but there were cobwebs and dust on unused surfaces. Also the room is very small. I thought I paid for the breakfast 🤔. Staff behind the desk were so, so ,so professional. Plenty of places to eat. The hotel is in one of those covered streets. Convenience 7/11 a few shops away & the metro a 3 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again & recommend it 100%. Rooms not huge, but we know that about Japan. But as usual, spotlessly clean.
