The room was very clean, but very small. We forwarded our carry on luggages and check in luggages to Kyoto from Tokyo (we were only in Fujikawaguchiko for 2 nights and just packed enough for 3 days/2 nights in our backpacks to hold us over). If we had our luggages, the room would've been way too small. At the end of the day, we were only at the hotel to shower and sleep and it was more than adequate. Slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, hair combs, and green tea/hojicha tea were provided. The staff was very friendly and the included breakfast was AMAZING. The curry and potato soup were so good and we loved the shine muscat grape jelly!! This hotel breakfast actually beat our ryokan breakfast. It's a close walk to the bus stop, but there wasn't much to walk to in the area except for a handful of restaurants and a Lawson.

My stay was 10/10. The inn has a private shuttle bus from kawaguchiko station to the hotel. They also allow late check out with an additional price. Would recommend to family and friends and would come back again.

The breakfast included was pretty handy, specially if you are climbing Fuji san and have no time to waste in the morning. It was a japanese style, so no bread. The food was delicious. The room itself was small but very tidy and clean. Good range of personal care items available close to the front desk.

A very thoughtful set up and breakfast is way better than how they advertised it. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Free shuttle to Kawaguchigo station but only 20 min walk if you want to do it. A 7 min walk to a grocery stores which open kind of late at 9am. Not too many restaurants around so plan accordingly.

Great base camp for exploring Fuji

While the hotel is not directly on the water or next to the kawaguchiko station, it offers free shuttle service to the station and has very close bus stops for the local sightseeing buses. The free breakfast is a great addition because there are not many breakfast options in the area for early starts. The room was spacious and the bath was excellently sized for a taller traveler.

It has a good shuttle to and from the bus station. The breakfast was good. However they are using a computer system to self-check in. Very impersonal! I like to welcomed when spending a a lot of money at an establishment. Also the bed was hard. There was no coffee available until breakfast.
