Phangka Paradise is definitely not the flashiest resort, that said the staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. The food at the cafe was great and really reasonably priced. The pool was clean and we had it to ourselves every time we used it. The room was clean and the bedding crisp. Yes it could probably do with some renovations, but the view from your bed in the beach front villas was amazing and the air conditioner worked perfectly. All in all, value for money it is a great place to stay, it is in the quiet part of the island so it really helps to have a scooter to get around.

This was a very quiet property with bungalows - we had a seaview bungalow. Very peaceful (June 2024). The staff prepared a lovely breakfast, and the restaurant was also good with a huge range of options. The staff were responsive to any problems or plans. The main disadvantage is that on this part of the west coast of the island, the sea is very shallow so we could not swim - other than in the pool. When the tide is out, there is an expansive sandy beach though. We enjoyed our stay.

No electricity for some time - not the hotels fault. But no TV and no Mini Bar as advertised However some previous complaints are now fixed. The garden units have enclosed bathrooms- not open air and balconies have a roof and drying racks.

The hotel was a wonderful place to stay . Very quiet location , situated right on the beach . Nice place for a quiet stop over . The owners made me fell very welcome and were very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for them . The food was superb and made to your taste.

Away from it all

Lovely and quiet with beautiful beach and wonderful sunsets. We had beach side bungalow which was ideal as right on beach with large room, open air bathroom, terrace view of beach. Hotel restaurant was fine, also use of canoe and bicycles for free. Staff very helpful and always smiling. Also other restaurants within 15 mins walk. Only downside was sea is very shallow even when tide was in (it goes out a long way) so not possible to swim in the sea. Hotel pool was a good alternative.

Paikka oli aivan mahtava henkilökunta todella ystÀvÀllistÀ ja mukavaa.aamupala tulee menuu listalta joten ei hirveÀsti valinnan varaa mutta riitti ainakin meille.huoneet isot ja siistit. Ei ole ns.shoppailu paikka mutta jos rauhaa hakee niin tÀysi 10+ paikka.syötiin aika paljon hotellin ravintolassa ruoka oli hyvÀÀ ja tuoretta.

Ein traumhaft ruhiger und romantischer Ort

Ideal fĂŒr Ruhesuchende, die traumhafte SonnenuntergĂ€nge lieben. Die Strandbungalows verfĂŒgen ĂŒber eine Terrasse, von der man direkten Zugang zum Sandstrand mit Palmen hat. HĂ€ngematte, Schaukel und Liegen laden zum Verweilen am Strand ein. Trotz Hauptsaison waren wir fast immer alleine am Strand. Der Strand liegt in einer seichten Bucht, dass Wasser reicht bis Höhe Knie/Oberschenkel, auch wenn man bei Flut 300 Meter ins Meer geht. Bei Ebbe kann man toll (und weit) Wattwandern. Schwimmen kann man am Besten im schönen Pool, der auch einen abgetrennten Kinderbereich hat. Der Bungalow ist sehr großzĂŒgig bemessen und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein breites (leider sehr hartes) Doppelbett, eine Couch nebst Sessel und Couchtisch sowie einen Sideboard nebst TV und kostenfreies WLAN. Es existiert eine separate Toilette mit Waschbecken und ein Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Letzteres in ein Highlight, da das Dach zur HĂ€lfte offen ist. So kann man(n) unter freiem Himmel duschen.. Das Servicepersonal war sehr aufmerksam, der Manager ist sehr hilfsbereit (z.B. fĂŒr die Organisation eines Mopeds) und spricht sehr gutes Englisch. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist sehr ĂŒbersichtlich (verschiedene Arten von FrĂŒchten, Toast mit Marmalade und Ei in verschiedenen Variationen). Bei der WĂ€rme in Thailand benötigt man aber auch kein allzu großes FrĂŒhstĂŒck.

Superbt lÀge, men troligen pÄ vÀg utför.....

Rummen i vÄr seafront villa var stora, rena och frÀscha. Den amerikanska frukosten som ingick var ok, möjligen nÄgot enhanda efter en vecka. BÀddning och stÀdning gjordes först framÄt solnedgÄngen, vilket vi upplevde lite annorlunda, men rent och frÀsch varje dag. Personalen var vÀnlig mÄn om vÄrt vÀl och frÄgade ofta om allt var ok. Mycket av vad som erbjuds enligt webben saknades, t ex skÄp för vÀrdeförvaring, jacuzzin i poolen, poolbaren, massage. Deras wifi var dÄlig och fungerade inte alls i bungalow utan endast vid poolen och i restaurangen. Restaurangen hade rykte om att vara bra men den var övergiven varje kvÀll. Utöver frukost Ät vi endast en lunch och en middag dÀr. AtmosfÀren ville inte infinna sig och det trots det fantastiska lÀget. Resorten och restaurangen har verkligen bÀsta möjliga lÀge i Phanka bay, men pÄ nÄgot sÀtt fick man kÀnslan av att det behövdes lite vÀsterlÀndsk handpÄlÀggning. En tragiskt fastkedjad apa vid entrén Àr inte positivt, inte heller att delar av restaurangen verkade anvÀndas som kontor och lager för stolar/bord som inte anvÀndas för dagen. Stranden, utsikten över bukten var bedÄrande frÄn sÄvÀl restaurang, pool och bungalow. Det var lÀtt att ta en promenad till nÀrliggande resorter som Elements, Coconut, Bamboo och en en liten fransk/belgisk-thai bar/restaurang. De tvÄ sistnÀmnda hade superb Thai mat och fisk/skaldjur. Butik fanns pÄ gÄngavstÄnd.
