Check in was seamless and we received the sweetest coconuts on arrival, the service was impeccable and the food from the restaurant was delicious. Recommend the Khao soi, they also have a 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails which were tasty. Room was very clean and the best was sooooo comfortable

The hotel is okay, not much more than that. The service is excellent everybody's really nice. The swimming pool is really nice. The rooms are not very good pretty standard, the gym is a disaster. The location is just far from everything...

Room was nice and clean , front desk were good , dining staff was not great . Food were very limited , and very few restaurants outside resort to go out and eat . The beach had broken glass in places I even cut my foot whilst walking . No compimentary water whilst sitting around beach/ pool area . Only a few bean bags to sit on on beach , os of this the pool area was very busy and with no where to sit .

The best bit was the (mostly) Burmese-speaking staff - they were excellent. Property infrastructure maintenance is not what you would expect for a facility showing its age. Aluminium plate pool loungers are the hardest and least comfortable ever encountered. 25mm thick foam pads did not lessen the discomfort. Do not know how some visitors could stand them for hours at a time. Am sure they have tons of repeat customers who absolutely love lounging by the pool and staring at the grey wall. Only a single plastic chair in a supposed 5-star AUD$800/ night luxury room? Included breakfast was passable, however not 5-star. (Check the way the bread is sliced) Again, the mostly Myanmar and Thai staff went out of their way to be accommodating in the restaurant and were the most redeeming feature of the property - otherwise it would be a 3 star overall. The pizza was very good, as were other normal menu items tried outside of breakfast hours. The only access to what is left of the beach after the typhoon in 23 or 24 is pathetic. Concrete steps that lead to a fabricated steel access structure at the last half metre to the sand - very poor. The gym was reasonably equipped, although the workout area was quite small and you needed to pick your time to avoid crowding. Nothing of note within walking distance of property. But other than the staff, the view over the private pool onto the ocean was a 5 star for us. (As long as you didn't sit on the lounger too long)
