The charming house in the quiet little village of Trsek,295 m high, is just a short drive from the sea, the coastal towns, the UNESCO caves of Škocjan, the Lipica horse farm, Venice and Ljubljana. The house is a perfect place for a quiet holiday. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with cable TV and a bathroom with washing machine on the ground floor. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, the beds are made with cotton sheets. Air conditioning is available. There are two deck chairs on the terrace. The house is in the middle of the village, but you are completely undisturbed there, because only about 6 cars a day drive slowly through the parallel street. Sometimes the neighbor Marija comes to fetch water from the well in the neighboring yard. You can park comfortably in the yard, but you can also use it for deck chairs. Free parking is available 50 m away. On the road leading to the village, you can sometimes come across a rabbit, a fox, a weasel, a deer or a wild boar in the evening. It is therefore better to drive slowly. Wine is available from the local winery. The village of Trsek is a perfect place for a quiet holiday in the middle of a nature reserve. A beautiful hiking trail to the neighboring village, which is about an hour and a half away on foot. There are endless opportunities for hiking, cycling, swimming in the Strunjan Nature Park. Just 10 minutes by car you will find good restaurants with excellent menus. The motorway exit is only 15 minutes by car. You can also get to Trieste in 35 minutes, Ljubljana and Opatija in an hour, Venice, Bled and the Soča River in two hours. Due to the steep stairs, the accommodation is unfortunately not suitable for children under 5 years old. In lively coastal towns you can visit museums and enjoy many concerts and performances. There is also a bus connection to the village of Trsek, but we recommend that you come with your own car. The nearest airport with good international connections is Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari Airport.
