Talon "emÀntÀ" tuli vastaanottamaan ja iloinen, avoin, mukava kohtaaminen johdatteli sisÀlle. Upeita yksityiskohtia ja ylevÀ tunnelma vÀlittyi menneestÀ. KesÀllÀ varmaan parasta loistoa. Katto korkealla ! SÀngyt erinomaiset ! Hiljaista! Yövyimme sviitissÀ eli tilaa oli 2 huoneen verran. ErittÀin siistiÀ joka paikassa. Pienet kuohuviinipullot jÀÀkaapissa oli mukava yllÀtys. Hotellet er et fantastisk bygg fra 1891. Trenger en del vedlikehold, men er en opplevelse. Vi bodde pÄ et separat gjestehus, som trenger enda mer vedlikehold og har enkel standard, men greit nok. Man mÄ bare vÊre forberedt pÄ at det ikke er et luksushotell i dag, men at det likevel er en fantastisk opplevelse Ä bo der.

Varasin yöpymisen netin kautta. PÀÀrakennus nÀytti viehÀttÀvÀltÀ ja aamiaisella maistuivat lÀmpimÀt, itse tehdyt sÀmpylÀt. Majoittuminen oli suuri pettymys. MeidÀt majoitettiin erilliseen rakennukseen, jonka ulkonÀkö oli rapistunut ja sisÀilma ummehtunut. Lakanat olivat puhtaat, mutta toinen pyyhkeistÀ oli likainen. Huone oli huonosti siivottu (lattialla roskia edellisen asukkaan jÀljiltÀ). Suihkukaappi oli hieman ruosteinen ja sen nurkassa oli likaa. Ainoat ikkunaverhot roikkuivat osittain irti verhonipsuista ja olivat lÀpinÀkyvÀÀ kangasta.

Matkalla Loviisan asuntomessuille

SisÀÀnkirjautuminen oli ilmoitettu alkavaksi klo 15, mutta huone ei ollut valmis vielĂ€ 15.15 kun saavuimme kohteeseen. Odotellessamme saimme kupposen kahvia. Huone sijaitsi sinisessĂ€ vierastalossa, jonka opasteet olivat melko huonot. Aikamme hortoilun jĂ€lkeen löysimme oikean huoneen. Rakennus vaatisi mittavaa kunnostusta ulkoapĂ€in, sisĂ€ltĂ€ oikein hyvĂ€ yöpymistĂ€ varten. Huoneeseen oli varattu 2 juomalasia, joista ainakin toinen vaikutti jÀÀneen edelliseltĂ€ majoittujalta. SiispĂ€ emme niitĂ€ kĂ€yttĂ€neet. LisĂ€ksi emme löytĂ€neet huoneesta kun puolikkaan rullan wc paperia. Siivoajille tĂ€ssĂ€ asiassa parannettavaa. Aamiainen oli pienoinen pettymys. Olisin kaivannut 8€:n hintaan jotain lĂ€mmintĂ€ syötĂ€vÀÀkin, vaikka niitĂ€ perinteisiĂ€ nakkeja ja munakokkelia. Plussaa kotitekoisista sĂ€mpylöistĂ€, nam.

Yövyimme jo toisen kerran Karhulan hovissa. Kerrassaan miellyttÀvÀ paikka rauhoittavan, vehreÀn jokimaiseman ja hyvien liikenneyhteyksien ja palvelujen keskellÀ. Wanhaa kartanoa ei ole liiaksi uudistettu, ja menneen maailman tunnelma on yhÀ aistittavaissa sekÀ sisÀ- ettÀ ulkotiloissa. Aamiainen oli runsas, mutta sÀngyn patja olisi jo syytÀ vaihtaa. Too pricey for the experience

For the price at the time, just below 200 a night, it was not well matching the experience. As a family with toddler we got 4 beds and no frills room. No climate control, not working toilet door, no in-room entertainment, no baby crib, a bit run-down room, OK people service, a good breakfast and nice looking hotel by exterior.

Menneen ajan tunnelmaa

Todella kaunis hotelli upeassa puistossa Kymijoen rannalla. Kiinteistö on pÀÀssyt hieman rapistumaan, eikÀ puutarhaakaan ollut pystytty hoitamaan sen ansaitsemalla tavalla, mutta kokemus oli silti upea ja tietynlainen romanttinen rappio sopi paikan luonteeseen hyvin. Huone oli ihanan suuri ja mahdollisuus saada lapsi nukkumaan omaan tilaansa loistava.

Das Hotel ist historisch betrachtet sehr interessant. Das Haus sieht AUS wie ein Schloss, ist aber abgekommen und brĂ€uchte eine erneuerung, bzw. Modernisierung. Im Bad kein Duschgel, TV klein und 5 lokale Sender!!!! FrĂŒhstĂŒck fĂŒr diese Preisklasse mangelhaft und Kaffee schmeckte nicht
