Nice hotel from the outside But inside the rooms are old - although one nice thing is they give you towels for the beach everyday in your room. Pool looks a lot nicer in the photos than in real life. Breakfast was hugely disappointing, this is my 4th time in Thailand and I'm used to seeing huge + beautiful breakfasts. This one - everything that was out looked old, flies everywhere.

Needs a lick of paint

The resort is on the right side of Railay for night life and it's only a 5min walk to West Railay beach where you can hire kayaks. The grounds and room are very nice but there are a few issues that prevents a 5 star rating. Everywhere is starting to look a bit dilapidated and main areas need re-painting. The bath in the room is massive but it took nigh on an hour to fill - the waterfall feature in the bathroom was also broken. The Wifi system was broken throughout our stay. On the plus side the included breakfast was good

Très belle Hotel bien entretenu

Deuxième séjour dans cet Hotel et tjs rien à redire certes pas du côté plage mais côté mangroove mais pas grave la plage et à 3 min de marche Petit déjeuner au top et gentillesse du personnel remarquable

Pros: Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross.
Cons: Überprüfen Sie die Hotelbeschreibungen, bevor Sie diese auf die Webseite veröffentlichen.
Location: Verschiedene schöne Strände in der Nähe die aber die aber sehr stark frequentiert sind. (klein Rimini in Thailand)
Die Wegbeschreibung zu den Hotel am Railay Beach ist auf der Ebooker Webseite falsch. Nach einer Taxifahrt muss man auf ein Boot umsteigen, wo es nach einer halsbrecherischen Fahrt an den Railay Beach geht. Dort beginnt wieder das Kofferschleppen. Wenn ich das gewollt hätte, dann hätte ich Inselferien gebucht. Der Strand vor dem Hotel ist dreckig und stinkt vor allem bei Ebbe. Der Pool ist zu klein und das WLAN funktioniert nur zufällig. Das Servicepersonal im Restaurant ist unmotiviert und für den Job nicht ausgebildet.

Dreckig, Eklig & Überteuert

Der erste Eindruck wird schon getrübt, durch die Lage am nicht so schönen Railey-East. Dass man am Railey-East nicht schwimmen kann & bei Ebbe den Schlamm & die Steine sieht; ist ja noch in Ordnung; da dies einfach die Natur ist. Railey-West ist zu Fuss auch schnell erreichbar. Dass Railey von den Bewohnern aber nicht gepflegt wird & überall Dreck & Müll (inkl. alter Kloschüssel) herumliegt - darf nicht sein. Hier müssen die Resorts darauf achten, dass alles gepflegt wird, zumal Railey nur aus Hotels + Restaurants besteht. Auf den ersten Blick - scheint das Resort sehr schön zu sein, es gibt eine schöne, offene Rezeption, ein Restaurant, einen schönen Garten, Poolbereich etc. Auch die Zimmerausstattung ist in Ordnung. Wenn man allerdings genauer hinschaut, ist schon der Eingangsbereich dreckig: Restaurant-Karte mit Flecken & verklebt, Cracker die im Pool rumschwimmen, verstaubte & verdreckte Pool-Liegen, kaputte Stühle die in der Gegend rumstehen. Das geht im Zimmer so weiter, mal abgesehen von den schon abgenutzen Möbeln: Flecken in der Dusche, Fettflecken am Kopfteil des Bettes, rostiger Mülleimer im WC, dreckige Gläser an der Minibar, Verstaubter Schminkspiegel, dreckige Fenster, Löcher in den Handtüchern & das ekligste: Flecken auf der Bettwäsche!!! Da wird das Urlaubsvergnügen schoneinmal getrübt. Das Personal kann anscheinend nicht mit Kritik umgehen - wir haben wirklich höflich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass das Zimmer nicht sauber ist. Es wurde nichts unternommen - auch keine Entschuldigung, gar nichts. Wahrscheinlich kann das Personal den Dreck nicht sehen bzw. wahrnehmen? Aber bei 4* und dem hohem Preis pro Nacht, erwartet man doch zumindest Sauberkeit. Aufgrund der fehlenden Sauberkeit haben wir darauf verzichtet Pool, Restaurant & Spa zu nutzen! Das Personal - scheint auch nicht wirklich auf die Gäste einzugehen. Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem ATM-Automaten & wollten uns hier an unser Hotel wenden. 1. Durften wir warten bis der Gute sein Privatgespräch beendet hatte 2. Wurde keine Lösung/ Hilfe angeboten. Fazit: Absolut nicht das Geld wert.
