Great family vacay! The snorkeling off the beach was great, my son enjoyed the lazy river and slide daily, fantastic sunsets, pool side and beach drink and food service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Even saw a hawksbill turtle when I was snorkeling at the resort.

The hotel is very clean and bedrooms are excellent. The location is the best one just in the middle of any other outside activity. The hotel has 3 restaurants. They are good. The only reason I am removing one star is because the staff is not so friendly and most of the employees never smile or say hi and the restaurants take some time to even serve the drinks. Order your food ahead before starving because it will take some time to be served.

Great Place to stay while in Bonaire

We had a amazing stay at the Chogogo. Very beautiful property with comfortable rooms. A almost perfect place to stay while in Bonaire. The only issues I had were the bed had a thin top matress and wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on. The second issue was the small portions served at dinner time in the Sunset Restaurant. I didnt think the value was there at 25 USD per plate. Just room for improvement. Otherwise the breakfast at the Sunset Restaurant was well worth it with free cappuccino, latte, expresso , and other options self serve at the coffee bar.

This hotel was amazing! Very safe, very clean, overall it was a great resort and would come back to Bonaire and stay at this place above anywhere else! You can’t beat the location, the snorkeling right there and the food at the restaurants! Top notch!

Long walk to town, excellent resort

Excellent resort. We did have to ask for a blanket for the bed. Cleaning was every 3 days but everyone was so very nice. We did walk and rented a bike to downtown as everything is a mile or more away. But the resort was excellent.

My husband and I arrived at Chogogo Resort Bonaire on the evening of Thursday, May 15, 2025. We checked in and were informed that the room would be cleaned every three days. We stayed at Chogogo Bonaire for four days, but not once did anyone come by to clean the room. We did report this to the reception. Apart from that, everything else was fine.

great place overall, my second stay, only negatives are the restaurant menus are very limited, only comfort foods are one burger option and a personal size pizza that was mediocre at best. number two is the parking situation , it seems there aren't enough spaces and the lots don't have any line markings so people sometimes take up more space. despite these shortcomings I would highly recommend Chogogo

While the property is beautiful and very well maintained, the rooms need more storage. There is no where for toiletries. Suitcases, or nightstands. The tv is beside the bed which is awkward for viewing. A chair or two would be easier. Bar and dining service is really slow. Pool service is worse. Food is overpriced for average at best. Nothing is wrong exactly, just average.

This property is amazing! Everyone at the front desk is so friendly, knowledgeable & accommodative. Loved the lazy river, food was excellent. Asked for an adapter for my curling iron & phone & also a blanket. No problem. Highly recommended!

We spent 9 nights and it was a wonderful place. The staff was great, the property is great. Plenty of activities for my teens, myself and diver husband. The 2 stars on property is the air conditioning in our room was not maintained well. My husband, A and family are extremely sensitive to mold and mold spores and after a inspection of the units we decided to not use them during our stay. We opted for open windows and balcony. It was quite warm but the Bonaire breezes made it pleasant. I suggest the facility do a deep cleaning on all air units. Otherwise we loved the property and would stay again.
