Balot was an excellent host. He picked us up from the airport, giving us recommendations along the ride home. We were also able to rent a scooter from him residence which was very convenient and a great way to get around the island as it's not a very big island. There was a pool in the middle of the courtyard as well as a deck and BBQ pit. Personally, my favorite part was Balot's two very sweet dogs: Diesel and Lemon. Both super sweet and we're total animal people. They're well-mannered and know to stay out of the room. We personally loved having them hangout on the porch with us but there was also a locked door for the porch if dogs aren't for you. I would definitely recommend his place to anyone. Do make sure to bring your amenities with you as there wasn't shampoo. etc. :-)

Balot's Place is a beautifully maintained property, very quiet with a beautiful pool, and a great BBQ area. Each apartment has a very nice outdoor patio to sit and eat your meals, outdoors yet still with privacy. There is a great shack to hang your diving equipment and suits, as well as to wash the diving stuff. The apartment has a very comfortable king size bed, very nice modern bathroom with a big shower. The kitchen is very well equipped to prepare your meals, it has a great pod espresso type coffee machine. In short there is everything for an excellant diving vacation if you look for an off the beaten path stay that offers you all the comfort for a great price. I highly recommend Ball's Place.

We loved staying at Balots Place. It is very peaceful and beautifully landscaped around the pool. The apartments are very clean and very well laid out. The host Leon is extremely helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

Balot's place is the best!

We loved our stay at Balot's place! The owner Leon is a super host. The location is superb. A really quiet and safe area. The grounds are wonderfully maintained with lots of privacy and a nice pool with hammocks and sun loungers. The apartments are very well equipped with a super comfy king size bed, everything is super clean and of high quality. We did not use the AC as the fan and shutters were very comfortabel for us. The private terrace is also really nice to have a coffee in the morning or a cold beer at the end of the day. Leon also provides transportation you can rent directly from him. Cars, super nice scooters and even a really cool buggy. His 2 dogs Lemon and Diesel are adorable. We absolutely loved Bonaire and and Balot's place in particular and will be back for sure! Thank you so much for everything Leon! M&C

Great Value

Leon, and his friend, Jan, were very friendly and helpful. While the location is a bit out of the center, the quiet and charm definitely compensate. Everything was as advertised, no surprisings except the gemuine hospitality and help from Leon. He deserves an A+.

"Basics at it's best" ist eine gute Zusammenfassung. Highlight ist das 2x2m Bett, sowie die ergiebige Regendusche. Wen die Naßzelle ohne Tür im gleichen Raum stört, der ist hier allerdings falsch. Aber dank der guten Ausrichtung zum Wind und des wirklich geräuscharmen Deckenventilators kann die Klimaanlage getrost ausgeschaltet bleiben. Schön ist auch, daß der sehr gastfreundliche Eigentümer ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück wohnt. Falls also mal etwas nicht funktionieren sollte ist das schnell behoben. Wir haben auf Bonaire noch niemals derart gut geschlafen und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Heerlijke accommodatie, persoonlijke service!

Balots place is heel goed gelegen: 10 minuutjes rijden naar Kralendijk, vlakbij de weg naar Rincon en toch een hele rustige plek. Het is fijn kleinschalig, de studio's en appartementen liggen in een mooi aangelegde tuin, met zwembad. Leon is een erg aardige gastheer, die erg zijn best doet en heel ontspannen is. Ook aan duikers is gedacht: een spoelplaats voor je spullen, een drooghok en kratten voor je natte duikspullen zijn te gebruiken! Een aanrader!
