The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay and went out of their way to make sure our stay went smoothly. We also appreciated the unexpected services that Sand Dollar provided while we were there such as a full cleaning half way through our stay, replacing our towels twice a week, a beach towel exchange along with someone always available at the office. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch, the relative privacy being on the second floor allowed us, the cool breezes alway blowing through and the amazing sunsets. Also, the location of this condo couldn’t have been any closer to the whole reason we chose Bonaire, access to a wonderful home reef. This condo is located right next to Sand Dollar’s beach and the pier. The pier provides shade, seating, rinse tanks, showers to rinse off, etc. But the most important thing to us was the easy access the pier allowed, having stairs right into the water. We could sit on the steps to get our fins on and step right into the Bari reef. It was like stepping into an aquarium. The condo could use some updating and there was some noise during the day from the dive shop next door getting tanks ready and their compressor but none of these were issues for us and were certainly far outweighed by the location, location, location. We would definitely stay at this condo in the future.
