Time out in a lovingly renovated farmer's cottage

The smaller of our two apartments in our house Heykes invites you to a relaxing break on the North Sea!

Haus Heykes is located in the middle of our beautiful historic warf village Rysum, on top of the Warf in the old village center.

We have lovingly renovated the small Landhauskate and renovated it in 2019!

The small house has a cozy living room with satellite TV and a small work opportunity, a fully equipped kitchen incl. Dishwasher, a chic shower room and a bright bedroom in which the beds can of course be placed separately. A small highlight in summer is the sheltered terrace, which is available for our guests' sole use. A parking space is located directly at the apartment.

In Rysum, which belongs to the municipality of Krummhörn, you will find absolute peace just behind the dike and get to know the supposedly endless expanse of East Frisia. Rysum is a great place to explore the region's attractions - by bike or by car.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. A kitchen and a TV are available in the vacation home.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in super Lage. Das Einzige was zu bemängeln ist, ist die schwache WLAN Verbindung und das in der Küche etwas wenig Besteck vorhanden ist. Trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert!

Tolles Häuschen. Liebevoll restauriert. Schön ruhige Lage. Von dort aus kann man sehr gut die Gegend erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten eine knappe Woche Urlaub. Um zu Entspannen war dies die richtige Entscheidung. Die Unterbringung war sehr schön. Die Vermieter waren absolut nett. Alles in allem war es eine sehr angenehme Zeit. Vielen Dank.

2te Mal Rysum

Rysum ist ein wunderschönes kleines Dorf, man ist schnell am Strand, in Greetsiel, Norden und Emden. Die Wohnung ist für 2 Personen gut geeignet, allerdings sind die vielen Stufen gewöhnungsbedürftig und der Stellplatz am Haus schwierigvor dem Haus schwierig und nur mit Kratzern am Lack zu erreichen

Die Ferienwohnung ist für uns bis auf eine Sache super ausgestattet, sauber, gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider sind die Betten mit sehr weichen Matratzen ausgestattet.

Ein echter Alternativurlaub, kein Touristenrummel, eine Umgebung, die zur Entschleunigung beiträgt. Eine gemütliche Wohnung, in der es an nichts fehlt. Tolle Möglichkeiten, in frischer Meeresluft zu radeln. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Schöne Bauernkate

Eine wunderschöne Bauernkate für zwei Personen, in einem sehr schönen Rundwarfendorf. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Ideal für eine kleine Auszeit

Wir waren ein paar Tage über Silvester dort. Die FeWo liegt inmitten eines kleinen Runddorfes. Es ist dort sehr ruhig und das Dorf ist sehr klein, mit sehr engen Gassen und einigen Ferienunterkünften. Die FeWo ist wie beschrieben und die Vermieter sind sehr nett, immer zu erreichen und versuchen stets zu helfen um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Es gibt einen PKW Stellplatz direkt vor dem Haus, der aber für größere PKW kaum nutzbar ist, da alles sehr eng ist. Wir zogen es daher vor, auf einem öffentlich Parkplatz zu parken (ca. 3 Min zu Fuß). Es gab eigentlich nur einen Punkt, der aber vielleicht nicht für jeden relevant ist. Das WLAN. Die Wohnung wird aus der angrenzenden Wohnung mitversorgt. Das führt dazu, dass es eigentlich nur in der Küche ein ausreichendes Signal gibt. Da uns die Problematik vorher bekannt war, hatten wir unseren eigenen Repeater mitgebracht, mit dem wir dann das ganze Haus mit einem starken Signal versorgen konnten. Die Vermieter versprachen hier Abhilfe zu schaffen. Leider ist der WLAN Zugang auch als Gastzugang konfiguriert mit einigen Einschränkungen. D.h. etliche Webseiten waren gesperrt. Auch gelang es nicht mit einer PS4 eine Verbindung zum PSN aufzubauen. Streaming war aber problemlos möglich (mit Repeater). Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und die Unterkunft kann für Menschen, die Ruhe haben wollen, uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.
