Cozy home in Kummerow with sauna

Just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful bathing area on Lake Kummerow and almost opposite the restored castle grounds, there are two separate holiday homes for up to 4 people each on the owners' fenced residential property of around 980 square metres. The garden is available to all guests and from June to September includes a well-kept pool area with sun loungers (approx. 7 x 3.50 m, please note the house rules), an outdoor sauna for 2 persons (reclining) and 3 (seated). ) by arrangement, as well as a covered seating and barbecue area with fire pit. Both non-smoking houses also have their own terraces or seating areas (smoking is permitted here), car parks and storage facilities for bicycles.

Renovated in 2019, the approx. 70 square metre non-smoking house for up to 4 adults is spread over two floors and is centrally heated. The living room (sofa, flat-screen TV) with open-plan kitchen area (electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, various small kitchen appliances) and the bathroom with shower/WC are located on the ground floor. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms (one open-plan with 1 x double bed, the second with two single beds), which can be reached via an open staircase.

Final cleaning and bed linen are included in the total price. Please bring your own towels. To be paid on site: Electricity and water according to consumption.



The small, rural village of Kummerow is located directly on the eponymous Lake Kummerow; the fourth largest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the middle of the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The region is characterised by rolling hills with magnificent views and is ideal for hiking, cycling and water sports. Ship, boat and canoe trips as well as fishing trips on the lake or the neighbouring Peene are just as worthwhile as excursions to the Reuterstadt Stavenhagen, to Malchin or to the Dargun monastery and castle complex. For the little ones, Lake Kummerow with its shallow shore and beautiful sandy beach offers plenty of fun and swimming. There is a bistro and a small café at the harbour.
