Old parish hall in Kvæfjord

This 120-year-old parish hall has been transformed into a creative summer paradise with soul and character. The 60-square-meter parish hall, with its 4.5-meter-high ceilings, offers a unique sense of space and light. The house is located in Kvæfjord, surrounded by mountains and the fjord, and offers views of the Northern Norwegian landscape.



The interior is characterized by upcycled materials and laid-back charm. The renovated pine kitchen and furniture with a history create a warm atmosphere. The walls are adorned with art and homemade quilts, and the large hall invites creative expression and relaxation. The house has a new roof, new windows, and modern bathrooms.



The garden features a lawn, gravel, and blooming lilacs—a peaceful place to enjoy summer days. Here you can relax outdoors after a day of exploring the area.



Kvæfjord offers the Skallan-Rå Cultural Trail with views of the fjord and mountains, and a hike to the summit of Kjeipen with a 360-degree panorama. Experience the midnight sun from Nupen, visit Trondenes Church from the 13th century, or taste the famous Kvæfjord cake at Refsnes Café. Fishing opportunities, coastal bike paths, and historical sights make the area perfect for active vacations.
