It had rounded ceilings, built in mirror frames that blended seamlessly with the walls and stunning lighting to highlight all these details. The customer service was amazing, staff was very friendly and the hotel is close to the train and bus routes. Loved being close to Nijo Castle and short bus ride to everywhere else. The hotel itself is very outdated. Decor seems very 80/90s but the rooms were spacious and lots of toiletry options.

Overall our stay was not bad. The first night right after checking in, we found a bug in the bed. The front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite for no extra charge. Aside from that, Breakfast was not included. Everything was about 15-30 mins train ride from the hotel. It was a very local area to stay in. Nice view of the Nijo-ji temple.

The bell captain was so amazing and helpful. There was a shuttle to and from the airport to hotel. The swimming pool was in very bad shape
