Beautiful traditional home

What a great experience we had staying at Azuki-An. Like a place out of time, the machiya even had an incredible aromatic wood scent (Cyprus?) that filled the home. The vaulted roofs with beams carried amazing noise of the pouring rain on the night we arrived making us truly feel like we were in another world. And wow, you could Iive in that bathtub. It was a little hard to find but that added to the mystery, turning through alleys, down the rabbit hole, to our little Kyoto home. Wish we could have stayed longer!
