We absolutely enjoyed our stay at RESI STAY Hachi Inn. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our four days in Kyoto. The location was quiet yet conveniently within walking distance to convenience stores, restaurants, and even central Kyoto. Would definitely stay here again!

The room are clean but no cleaning service for 10 nights. The hotel accept to guive me new bedding after 5 days but never accept to change the towel. It’s a good hotel near Kyoto station. Everything about this stay was great! Pros: - The staff at the counter was fluent in English - They let me order things from Amazon to their reception counter address and even delivered them to my room - They replied incredibly quickly here on Expedia, usually within a minute - The hotel room itself was spacious and was relatively quiet - It had all the essentials I needed including: microwave, a fridge with separate freezer and fridge compartments, hairdryer, and a fancy shower/bath - A big plus was how you can dim / turn off the lights from the bed using the controls on the headboard. Have not yet seen any other Japanese hotel with this feature Cons: - I noticed a few hairs on the bed, in the bath / shower. The floor also did not seem very clean with a few stains from previous stays - The window did not block out all noise. I could hear school bells, cars, and people talking outside even with everything closed tightly. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

I booked the Deluxe Triple Room for our 3-night stay in Kyoto and overall, we had a good experience for the price we paid. The room was clean and in great condition, and the location was a close walk to Kyoto station. There are lots of great food options close by. Keep in mind that the building to check-in is different from the hotel itself which is unstaffed. You have to stop by at a different building to check-in and then walk again to the hotel, but the check-in building was close to Kyōto station and the hotel was around an 8-min walk. It was a little inconvenient only because we had large suitcases to carry. During our stay, the front door also malfunctioned and we could not get into the hotel. Because the hotel is unstaffed, this was an issue. Thankfully, we encountered another guest whose boyfriend already walked back to the check-in building to notify the staff of the door problem, but if it had been just us then we would’ve had to walk back to the check-in building ourselves. We still waited around 20-30 mins and could not get inside the hotel at this time. There were towels, slippers, coffee/tea, and mugs, but they did not have utensils/cutlery and you had to pay for additional towels. Also, if your stay is short there is no cleaning and if your trash gets full during that time you have to take it out yourselves. I think all of this is because you’re paying for a hotel with no staff so keep this in mind when booking. Overall, our experience was decent.

最初只有少量評語還有點擔心旅館質素, 但入住後發覺旅館很好. 旅館員工雖然不懂中文及英文, 但員工非常友善,房間很大, 而且房間很清潔, 如房間能夠提供支裝水會更好, 不過旅館附近有便利店, 所以不是一個問題. 京都車站只需步行6分鐘左右, 非常方便 極力推薦
