This is a nice hotel. However, we had 2 big issues: 1. We booked this spot for 4 people. I put in my children’s ages when I booked on Expedia. When we arrived, they said that they could not accommodate us in one room and we had to get an upgraded room or 2 rooms. (We booked rooms the same way in other places in Japan and did not have this issue there.) This cost us more than double the original price. They told me originally it was just a slightly increased fee but then called my room and asked me to pay the original price plus the upgraded room. 2. On the second night while I was in bed, I noticed a wet spot on the bed and then had water fall onto my head from the ceiling. There was a leak from the AC vent (see picture). We called the front desk and they came to look at it, but moved the beds or said we could go to another room. My son was already asleep so we didn’t move. However, I was disappointed that nothing was done to rectify this situation. After the whole room debacle, I expected some kind of discount or some sort of fix for literal dirty water leaking onto me and my bedding. However, they acted very unbothered. I would like to be refunded one night of the stay. Also, we could not use the amenity of the bath due to having a tattoo. So overall, lovely property, but the customer service was a huge disappointment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay – Spacious, Comfortable & Fully Equipped! This was hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Japan. The room was incredibly spacious, especially for Kyoto standards, and the bed and mattress were very high quality – I slept better here than I do at home! The amenities were outstanding and fully stocked: razor, Q-tips, wash cloth, hair brush, toothbrush with toothpaste, moisturizer, facial soap, lotion, plus the usual shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You don’t need to bring a thing – they’ve thought of everything. The location was also a huge plus – just a short walk to the train station and right near a 7-Eleven, which was super convenient. Another highlight was the onsen onsite – it’s clean, relaxing, and has separate sections for men and women. Everything is provided, making it a true spa-like experience. And finally, the Japanese buffet was absolutely delicious! Great variety, fresh ingredients, and full of authentic flavors. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved everything about this hotel. They have a roof top you can hang out at night to view Kyoto. There are restaurants in the 2F to choose from. There's a bridge connecting to the Ukemoji train station. 7 Eleven next door.

I love to stay at this hotel. It has all amenities that you need, they provide coffee, tea, lotion, skim milk, face wash cream, comb, toothbrush & tooth paste and salt bath bar. The hotel is so new only 5 years old . Our room has 3 beds, separate toilet, separate sink and separate bathtub (includes standing shower). I enjoyed the lady onsen and sauna sợ much using it daily while we stay there for 3 nights. Breakfast was so good with lots of good food. The hotel is connected to the train station from 2nd floor. It has 4 restaurants onsite. They also have laundry room (but dont put too much clothes it will take you forever to get them dried, instead using outside laundromat About 5 mins away, google for nearby laundromat). There are shops onsite for souvenirs as well but a little pricey. Only 1 station away from Kyoto station, where you can go to Nikki castle and other famous shrines in Kyoto. Will love to stay here again if we are in Osaka/Kyoto next time.

It is connected to the JR train station via a covered bridge. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emion. Great staff. Spoke English well. Loved the Onsen. We even got vouchers to spend at the restaurants and stores. We got to the hotel early and luckily, they were able to get us in a room early. They also offer luggage storage service. We can’t wait to stay here again.

First, the hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious. The staff were also courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is not included in the room rate but was affordable and delicious. Furthermore, the private spa was AMAZING and a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel is right above a train station which is immensely convenient. It’s also one stop from Kyoto station. They also have bikes guests can rent for sightseeing. Overall, this was the best place we stayed during our Japan Trip. Will definitely rebook next time we’re in Kyoto.

Great hotel with plenty of amenities. Our room has four beds to accommodate our family of four. The bathroom is fully stocked with necessities and room is clean with excellent daily housekeeping. The only downside is the laundry washer/deyer machine doesn’t dry clothes well. Overall, we like it!
