The stay was disappointing. The room was tiny, and the bed was uncomfortable: the mattress sagged right in the middle, and the pillows were bad. The team at reception seemed to do the bare minimum; they weren't rude, but the service lacked any warmth. The luggage delivery company (external from the hotel) damaged our suitcase, and the reception team repeatedly questioned us ("Are you sure it wasn't already broken?"), which made the whole situation uncomfortable.

I stayed for three nights in a foliage season in Kyoto. Room is clean with good amenities, and staff are friendly and professional. It is walkable to the downtown Sanjo where are many fancy restaurants and bars.

This hotel is 2 minutes walk to subway, and one stop to Shijo street. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will come back when i revisit Kyoto.

Room was extremely hot, no control over temperature in the rooms. Signs not to open the windows. If you do open the window to cool off you will be listening to traffic all night. Great hotel close to the touristy part of Kyoto. We enjoyed the short walk to the shopping center and dining area with lots of options. Also close to Gion, the old town.

La ubicación es buena, muy céntrico, todo queda cerca, no a distancia caminable, pero si vas a estar varios días en Kioto y vas a visitar distintas atracciones de la ciudad este lugar queda céntrico. Tiene cerca el metro, paradas de autobús, tiendas de conveniencia, hay un santuario pequeño pero bonito en la esquina, hay restaurantes cerca. El hotel no se ve nuevo, pero tampoco se ve descuidado. El personal es muy amable. La pasamos muy bien.
