Check in was easy, we upgraded our rooms and were shown other rooms we could change to. Very clean all looks new. Free coffees, teas, soft drinks and ice lollies all day. Breakfast available too but had a selection of cereal, mixed fruit, croissants, bread and a pancake maker. Also had scrambled eggs, sausages. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a perfect place to unwind after a busy day in Kyoto. All staff are kind and extremely generous with their assistance. We stayed in the Family Room with private balcony. What a treat! It was great having access to water, soda water, coffee, tea and other soda’s. A nice little touch. Amenities were available. A great location. Breakfast was a basic western meal but quite good! And, yes the room can be busy at times. But a great way to start the day ;)

We loved our stay in this hotel. Right across Kamo river. The amenities actually thought of everything we'd need. There's free breakfast that gets served from 7:30-9:30. But beverages are available 24/7. It's not too close to 7-11. But there are bikes available to "borrow" from the for free. So it made it easy for me to go and pick up something from the stores. The front desk staff are so friendly. I'd stay here again.

Everything was very smooth! A bit small but we didn’t mind. It had all the essentials as well as a washing machine (the drying process was a bit traditional but again we didn’t mind) and the receptionists (especially Hiro) were very accommodating and amazing! This hotel lived up to its description. Spacious room, comfortable bunk beds that even teenagers enjoyed, a washing machine in the room was an added bonus. The daily free breakfast in the lounge was just right for gaining energy for the day. The lounge was open until midnight so we could enjoy the drinks and coffee as a family after a long day sighting. All the staff were super helpful and were able to guide us with recommendations. Worth it when traveling with a family of 8 or solo.

Very nice hotel, in quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk to many restaurants and bars. Rooftop deck was a very nice place to relax in the evenings and room balcony was small but awesome for two to share a coffee together in the morning.
