Hotel The Mitsui was a phenomenal hotel. The amenties, design, and cleanliness were truly standout. The private onsen was lovely. The attentiveness and knowledge of the hotel staff really is top notch. The Japanese style breakfast was beautifully presented. This is one of the best urban hotels I’ve ever stayed in Japan or Europe. I will definitely be returning when I come back to Kyoto. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, in all areas including room cleanliness and organization, customer service (amazing), a quiet room, relaxed atmosphere, excellent breakfast (Japanese or American, served at the table, plus an extensive buffet, all items fresh and delicious.
