We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto! The location is perfect, and the staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. A special thank you to Dennis, the assistant manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our visit. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

We had stayed at 3 other hotels in Japan and by far the customer service was fantastic!! We were welcomed right away as we got out of our taxi and knowing it was a super hot day, we were given ice cold water bottles right away. There were chairs to relax in which was so nice. Interesting when we stayed at the Intercontinental in Tokyo there were so chairs to sit and signs everywhere stating not sit on the ledges. We were walked up to our room and when we asked for extra pillows/blanket the young lady brought them in less then a minute which usually sometimes takes hours to get. Big shoutout to the best concierge staff ever! One of the ladies helped schedule a hair cut appt for my daughter and myself which was super last minute. She really wanted to help us. And we got amazing cut/color within 5 min walking distance to hotel. The next mornign when asking again for help with getting to the airport on train the concierge helped outline everything on the subways and color coded it. Only downside is they don’t have a pool. Breakfast buffet was really good! Chef even came out to great everyone and to get feedback.

Really nice stay

Really nice stay at the Hyatt Regency for 5 nights. Staff were lovely - spacious room. Nice little touches like the Geisha dancer performance. Museum, temple and beautiful gardens/shrines on your doorstep. Short walk to Shichigo station to get up into Gion.

the Hyatt Regency in Kyoto exceeded expectations. Excellent staff who go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay with them, terrific location, very well kept hotel and 3 superb restaurants
