The hotel was lovely. The room was so comfortable and spacious. Most comfortable room for 4 people we have had in Japan. The train and bus stops are close by. And the hotel is tucked into the cutest little street with shops and restaurants.

Loved the location, the room and the staff. Room was vey spacious and beds were comfortable. The area around it was very good. Easy to access all Kyoto sites with lots of transit options and there was also a lot of high quality eating options nearby. I personally loved the bakery around the corner - Le Petit Mec for breakfast. Best French pastries I have ever had and good coffee. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent room with plenty of space despite 3 sharing. Reception were lovely and very helpful and the location of the hotel was perfect for Nijo Castle and the Imperial palace.
