Staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Working space was adequate and wired internet was provided in addition to wi-fi, so connection was fast and stable. Whenever I needed a drink, I could simply go downstairs to the lounge for coffee or cold drinks. Best of all, this hotel is only a few minutes away from bus, taxi, subway and JR. I would not consider staying anywhere else on my next trip to Kyoto.

The hotel and the rooms are in excellent condition. Everything is spotless. The hotel staff were highly professional, friendly, and very helpful. We especially appreciated it that they spoke in Japanese, rather than simply switching to English. The location, a very short walk from Kyoto station is perfect.

For me this is the best value hotel in Kyoto, with reasonable price, comfortable rooms with space. I don't include breakfast with my room because there are so many less pricy and more interesting options in the nearby strong complex. The lounge (open after noon) is a mini museum of Japanese art!

The hotel is right next to Kyoto station where the Porta shopping and dinning locates. The hotel is so clean and staff are polite and friendly. I will stay at Mitsui Garden hotel Kyoto station again if I habe chance to visit Kyoto again. I wish the laundry facility is bigger and providing more than two washing machines
