I enjoyed my week long stay at this hotel. I like that you get 3 restaurants for breakfast options, and so i tried them all. It is just literally across the road from Kyoto Station and so you can get anywhere you want. The room was very spacious and quiet and the amenities were great. Would stay here again.

The size of the room was adequate enough to move around for 4 people. The location has a huge impact for us. The staff are helpful too. Highly recommended hotel.

a lot of tourist in this hotel. centrally located by kyoto station is ideal to get to but not ideal for the stay. it’s a little far from where the action is — quick bus ride to Gion while convenient is still out of way. we found ourselves out all day and night instead of returning to drop items off and refresh. the rooms are more spacious for japan standards and up keep is good for an older hotel.

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay, very close to Kyoto station. Check in and check out is done through a machine, very easy. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast included with our stay and it is worth it for the buffet. This is a big hotel and has a lot of tour buses and large groups which makes for a busy lobby and long breakfast lines. Overall a convenient place to stay in Kyoto.
