Good hotel with convenient proximity to the city center and a giant Aeon Mall. We were able to find lots of good food and shopping options within walking distance. Good breakfast with a large variety of both delicious and delicate Japanese and Western options. It’s also strategically located with access to public transportation for day trips to popular destinations around Kyoto. Would recommend!

The location is a big plus! Plenty of eateries nearby and super convenient transportation options. The room's on the smaller side, but it's cosy and gets the job done.

My favorite hotel iaround Kyoto Station—a five-minute walk from Kyoto Station, where you can use JR and Kintetsu. The hotel staff are friendly and well-experienced. You can choose from a Western and Japanese buffet or a traditional Japanese breakfast. Close to a big shopping mall with a movie theater. Arcade shops and restaurants on your way to the Kyoto station are a plus, you can buy nice Omiyage.

Room is clean but making of room seems a bit too slow. Staff are polite and helpful. Location of hotel is very convenient with easy access to Kyoto Station and local buses as well as airport limousines. Lots of choices for restaurants in the surrounding area. This is my second stay in the hotel with more to come in the future.

The hotel is across Kyoto Station, making it very convenient to transportation. There are lots of shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance. The room was very spacious by Japanese hotel standards. The hotel staff was very pleasant and courteous, although there were so many guests that they seemed overwhelmed. We would consider staying here again if we are back in Kyoto.

Yes, yes the room smelled musty the sheets and blankets where not changed. There was no WiFi charging station available in the room. After staying at Intergate Hotel l could not stay in the poor excuse for a room. I booked out and left back for Shinjuku where my stay is excellent

Perfect location when using Kyoto as a hub for your travel. It is located right across the train station but on the back or Hachijo side, which is less busier than the Kyoto Tower side. My only complaints is that I booked a premium floor with train view almost a year in advance, but i got a very corner view facing other buildings in which I can see the train station but barely see trains, I did ask the front desk but they responded with -you can see the shinkansen trains passing by-barely. What the picture of the view I booked was nothing compared to the room I got, Other than that, goof hotel for the location.
