The hotel was wonderful…extremely clean, courteous staff and the location across from the train station made it extremely convenient for day trips in Kyoto. The hotel had a nice charm that made us feel very comfortable.

The portion of the hotel I stayed in was weathered. No matter how clean, an old hotel looks old. I don’t believe the air conditioning was working. Overall the stay was average. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Very clean room, they upgraded us for free so we can have three beds instead of two. They gave combs, toothbrush n tooth paste, shsvers, and slippers. The water pressure was perfect. It’s right next to the Kyoto station where you can shop and eat. It was easy check in and out, I didn’t have to speak to anyone
