Prime location in the heart of Gion, yet ultra quiet. Nice combo of traditional meets modern styling. The “make your own bread” option for breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay here again in Kyoto- super convenient and amazing amenities!

Stayed here with our 3 kids ages 11, 9 and 3. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Staff provided cute pajamas for the kids and we loved the bread breakfast you make in your room! Staff were friendly and helpful. The area is very close to sight seeing opportunities and beautiful parks and shrines. We loved our early morning walking tour to the shrines complimentary from the hotel - make sure to book in advance! Thank you for a great stay!

This location is very close to Hanamikoji Street, the famous Geisha street in Gion, Kenninji Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Shijo Avenue and Shirakawa Canal. The hotel itself is very nice in the traditional interior design. I personally think this is the best hotel in the area.
