Great spot near Kyoto station. The amenities are unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the onsen was perfect for combating the soreness of our 25k step days! Onsen doesnt allow uncovered tatoos, but you can tatoo cover stickers for free from the front desk. I would love to stay here again.

Le buffet déjeuner était délicieux et toujours plein, même lorsque l’on arrivait vers la fin du service. Les bains étaient propres, nous avions accès à plusieurs options dont un bain de méditation. La chambre était spacieuse pour un hôtel japonais, mais le lit était très dur (nous nous sommes habitués après quelques nuits). Dans l’ensemble, nous avons eu une très belle expérience !

The hot spring bath was excellent! Staffs were very friendly and the property was well maintained and clean. Near by bus stop, subway and JR station for sight-seeing. It offers free ramen for supper and free ice cream at night!

The room I got is the largest room which has sufficient space for 3 people. The onsen is very clean and has different types of spring water. My family enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The only thing I am not a fan of is the no shoe policy in the hotel because we still have luggage rolling around.

The stay was absolutely surreal. Breakfast was worth the extra $20/pp USD so don't skip. The Onsen was a really neat experience and the body & hair products were literally top notch. The only complaint are the pillows. They are really bad. Luckily walking 20k steps means you can sleep on the ground you are so tired. Would stay again but maybe buy a pillow. Like for real for real.

Lots of amenities and convenience in Kyoto

We loved this hotel! Great location - an easy walk from Kyoto station and convenient to many temples and museums. We used city buses to visit other areas. The onsen was a daily(+) ritual for us. The breakfast buffet was wonderful whether you wanted japanese or western style, or a bit of both! The staff were very attentive and our room was spacious.

The hotel was too busy and i assume so because of social media, it attracted influencers who were video recording at breakfast. I was recommended to stay here but this was probably my least favorite hotel out of my one month long stay in Japan. I found that the smaller boutique ryokans were much more welcoming and kind. The staff seemed impatient with a lot of the guests but with good reason because many guests were just ridiculous with their complaints and requests.
