The hotel was clean, service was great and had lots of on site restaurants in the hotel. We tried French restaurant on top of the hotel and Teppanyaki, they were both beyond amazing. Waiters were very professional and welcoming. Conveniently located near Kyoto station as well.

The suite was a fabulous large space, and a walk from the train station. Wasn’t pleased to hear we had to pay extra to use both the pool and the gym. We went there because it had all the facilities, was annoyed it never mentioned this when looking at different hotels. Also don’t get the minimum cleaning options, they didn’t restock the mini bar (was included in our room price) and the bed wasn’t made.

Overall a very wonderful stay with all staff being accommodating and friendly. I cannot wait to stay again when visiting Kyoto another time.

Hotel is worn out in comparison to what it looks in the photos. Too dusty, till me and my husband started cough the next day. AC was the hardest to manage. Very difficult, when it was hot. Too hot. When cold, too cold. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade. Only plus point was water dispenser on the floor. Don’t think I will consider coming back here.
