Our stay at Tsugu Hotels was awesome. The room was just as advertised in the photos; clean, modern, & simple but has everything you need! They provide kitchen amenities, laundry machines, and slippers + robes in room. The rooms also have mini fridges which is perfect for all the little snacks you might come home with. The staff are SO kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, super close to Nishiki Market and all the shopping. The hotel is also attached to a super cute cafe. Overall such a great stay, highly recommend!

The location is wonderful, nice rooms, not too small, only a 5-minute walk to Nishiki market and lots of restaurants and shopping. Sanjo station (to Fushimi Inari Taisha) is a 12-minute walk and Karasuma Oike Station (to Kyoto station) is a 8-minute walk away.
