Built over 100 years ago, TAKEYA Tenmangu is a fully licensed, fully renovated, traditional Japanese machiya located just 3 minutes walk from one of the most famous temples in Kyoto-Kitano Tenmangu Shrine.

Kamishichiken, the oldest Geisha district in Kyoto, is just 2 minutes walk away, and has a beautiful pedestrian walkway where you can see real Geishas walking to their appointments.

There is no shortage of restaurants and shops nearby, and there is even a supermarket just a short walk away.
