Excellent hotel 5 minutes walk to the Karasuma Oike subway which can take you anywhere in Kyoto. Reception staff are pleasant and helpful. Very good facilities including a washing machine/dryer. A foot bath! In the reception are together with saki and coffee dispensers. A great place to stay.

The room was great, comfy and clean. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Location was good with a relatively short walk or underground journey to many of the key sites. On site breakfast wasn’t great, i would recommend a visit to Fiveran bakery instead (just around the corner)

This hotel was very good….clean, spacious room with washing machine and microwave, coffee/choc machine and sake in reception, lovely staff, good breakfast. The bonuses are location (less than 5mins walk to nearest subway station and 3 stops to Kyoto Main Train Station), loads of shops nearby like chemists, Starbucks, McDo, 7-11, Lawsons, Family Mart, restaurants!!!! We enjoyed staying here as our base. We then had day trips to Nara, Himeji, and Osaka.

We loved the laundry in the room, especially with the baby. The staff were very accommodating and kind! The location is pretty much a 30 minute walk to everything and the Karasuma line it around the corner!!!
