LAS GAVIOTAS

Villa Las Gaviotas is a cottage situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla managed by Catalan Ways.



We have two offices in l’Ampolla to give support and information on all aspects of your holiday on the Costa Dorada; our job is to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to have the wonderful holiday you deserve.



Villa Las Gaviotas is a wonderfully landscaped holiday villa that is really comfortable and well thought out. The huge pool and sun terrace have its own private pool house with fridge, lounge to relax, and shower room/bathroom facility. It makes being in the pool area ultra-nice and comfortable. The other great thing is that while the pool is located in the wonderfully landscaped gardens and near the villa, it is far enough away for you to sit in the conservatory and have a calm herbal tea while everyone plays water-polo. Villa Las Gaviotas is a large property with three reception rooms, an independent kitchen, four bedrooms and parking for five vehicles. It can accommodate up to eight people and there is so much space and nooks and crannies, it is easy to do just your own thing, read a book and do some work (if needs be!). Perhaps another name we could call Las Gaviotas is 'Villa De Los Juegos' (the Villa of Games) as there is a pool table, table football and great 10x5 m pool. All in all, a lot of fun. One of the three lounge area is the dedicated games area, the second is a TV lounge and the third is with sofas and large coffee table that have views of the gardens to chill. There is an al fresco dining area with canopy for shade, an independent kitchen, a barbecue zone and numerous sun deck areas. Three of the bedrooms have double beds and the last one has a bunk bed. There are two bathrooms .



The house has free Wi-Fi and because it is a bungalow, everything is on the one level and easily accessed. The large garden is beautifully landscaped and offers lots of shade so if the mood takes you, it makes an ideal short stroll. In fact, if the mood took you, you could easily walk to the lovely village of l'Ampolla as it is just 4 km away with its many sandy beaches. And this is the big point. While Villa Las Gaviotas offers space and rural charm, it is also very near the coast and the great facilities and restaurants of the village.



This beautiful part of the Spanish Mediterranean, known as the Gold Coast, is famous for its mountains sweeping down to golden sandy beaches. Costa Dorada has a unique climate that is warm in summer and mild in winter.



L'Ampolla is a fishing village that has happily avoided being a tourist destination. Famed through-out the Costa Dorada for its cuisine, the oysters, razor clams and fish all come straight from the waters of the bay. While it does have a gentle pace of life with great beaches, there is still jet ski rental and boat hire for fishing, beach volleyball tournaments and a summer season night-club, music concerts and festivals to provide lots of interesting variety.

As a guest of this cottage, you'll find barbecue grills, a garden, and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
