The apartment is on the ground floor of a respectfully renovated building dating back several centuries. There is a bedroom with en suite bathroom and living-room/dining/kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including : oven/hob/grill, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, washer/dryer, wifi, flat screen TV / DVD & Google Chromecast (for watching Neflix or You tube videos on TV) .

You will find the old town, shops, restaurants, antiques fairs, waterways and cafés within a couple of minutes walk of the property.

Spend a leisurely afternoon browsing one of the many galleries L'isle Sur La Sorgue is famous for, or, for a more active holiday, the region offers a wealth of things to do including: cycling, hiking and kayaking.

Just a short drive away are the pretty hill-top villages of the Luberon, where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and you can unwind with a glass of wine in one of the medieval squares.

You can also visit the lavender fields and famous villages such as Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon and Lacoste. The cities of Avignon, Aix en Provence and Saint Rémy de Provence are a short drive away and you can also enjoy a day out at one of the famous vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone.

The town is easily accessible on foot but car parking is available for free directly opposite the property on the other side of the river.

Delightful apartment ideally situated near the town centre

We stayed here from 24 to 30 April 2017. Found the apartment beautifully clean and well equipped and ideally located for visiting the town. There is a path outside the apartment beside a branch of the river Sorgue - walk 2 minutes to an artisan bakery; 5 minutes the other direction takes you to a wide range of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed wandering around the picturesque town, admiring the waterwheels, and enjoyed the Thursday and Sunday markets. During our stay, we visited the hill viillages of the Luberon and the Vaucluse as well as the Ardeche Gorge, Les Baux and other sites of great interest. Our base at L'Isle sur la Sorgue was perfect for visiting these areas.

Lovely riverside apartment for two.

This lovely ground-floor studio apartment is situated on the 'quiet' side of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue overlooking the water. It's a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants, but a quiet haven to return to in the evening. Parking is hassle-free, with parking available outside the front door or in a parking lot across the street. The apartment is clean, modern and very well equipped. The glass partition between the bedroom and living areas keeps the whole apartment nice and bright while still giving the areas a sense of separation. Communication with the owners was good and check-in/out was trouble free. A perfect little apartment for two. Highly recommend.

Ideale Lage

Die Ferienwohnung hat mit der Lage voll unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Alles einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen, der Luberon ist nicht weit und Avignon mit dem TER sehr gut zu erreichen. Für einen kurzen Trip ist die Wohnung super. Für 14 Tage haben uns ein paar Ablagemöglichkeiten gefehlt. Hervorheben möchte ich aber die schnellen Reaktionen von Lee vor und während des Aufenthalts. Wir hatten Probleme mit der Duschtemperatur-Regelung gemeldet und 4 Stunden später war das Problem an einem Sonntag gelöst. Super. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen, aber dann nur für ein paar Tage.

Vraiment dépaysant ce petit appartement urbain.

Un petit appartement urbain et charmant sur une île. Quoi de mieux pour être dépaysé, car tout les achats se fond dans des petits commerces situés au cœur de l'île aux environs de la grande place. Le mercredi et le samedi il y a foire pour bonifier le tout . L'appartement était très propre et conforme aux informations fournies par le proprio. Contrairement a ce que nous avions pensé, les nuits étaient calmes, même pour un espace situé au rez-de-chaussée. Le mistral nous a apporté la ventilation nécessaire pour résister aux canicules. A quelque pas il est facile de trouver de bons restos en bordure de la rivière, ce qui augmente le charme de l'endroit. Nous avons toujours trouvé du stationnement devant la porte ou presque et c'est un excellent point de départ pour visiter la région (en auto). Nous n'hésitons pas à recommander cet appartement de vacances pour 2 personnes. Normand
