Lovely 19th century Bresse residence with traditional architecture in local bricks, carefully restored, located in a quiet area in the heart of a peaceful and charming little typical village, on the edge of a wooded meadow opening onto the communal fishing pond which is directly accessible (carp and pike among others...). Nestled in the heart of the Bresse countryside, in the hollow of the verdant lower Doubs valley, not far from the first wooded mountain foothills of the Jura massif, La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur benefits from a soothing, gentle, unspoiled countryside, combining "full nature" & agriculture, nestled in the hollow of a vast bocage plain dotted with numerous bucolic ponds & beautiful wild forests (partly protected in ZNIEFF for its wealth of fauna & flora), to explore during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides, and has a leisure center with a very famous "natural" lake specifically designed for "organic swimming". Very comfortable cottage nestled under the roofs, designed in the spirit of a "mini lof". Warm country character with contemporary accents enhanced by the beautiful original framework. In the heart of the Bresse countryside, a soothing, preserved setting of bocage plain mixing agriculture & nature between meadows, forests, rivers & bucolic ponds, largely protected as a ZNIEFF & Natura 2000 Zone (for its very rich ecosystems), very close to the first wooded foothills of the Jura massif as well as the banks of the Doubs (protected natural site, paradise for fishermen as well as nature lovers).
