Horsin’ Around House at Plum Crazy Appalachian Resort is a family friendly dog friendly Appalachian mountain getaway walking distance from two waterfalls and fishing across the street. Drive your SxS/ATV/Jeep out the driveway onto Rock Creek Ln 1 mi to Rock Creek waterfall and trails #3 & #36 just past the falls (you will need to purchase a per vehicle license to ride TWRA) WE HAVE SxS RENTALS AVAILABLE for booking separately. We can also help you book Trail Guides and buying your Trail pass. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and 2 trailers around the house (we have had three 24’ trailers up there but not recommended) we have easier flat parking a couple blocks away in our dry flat yard. We have a hose with sprayer outside, old towels for ATVs/Dogs/mud clean up and a washer/dryer just inside the mudroom. There’s a couple boulders to park your SxS/Jeep on and take pictures at the top of the driveway. We have a firepit surrounded by boulders to sit on with solar lights around the perimeter and charcoal grill. Full amenities in the kitchen including blender, coffee makers, crockpot, and even an ice cream maker are provided for your use. The house has a huge deck with plenty of room to play games available or sit on the porch swing and read a book. We have high speed internet, smart TV, private TVs in both bedrooms and plenty of DVDs to choose from. The main bedroom suite has a large garden tub and a large separate shower. The living room couch does not pull out but is twin bed size with extra sheets in the bedroom closet, there are no more bunkbeds but there is a daybed/twin bed in the great room area. If you have little kids with small ATV/dirt bikes too small for trails we have a huge yard around the playset & firepit next door they can ride all over. We have elderly neighbors, respect that Quiet outdoor hours 10pm-7am. ATV's are loud, you may be leaving early/ returning late be respectful.
1 person per ATV/SxS needs a TWRA riding permit on trails. No alcohol at all on trails. Helmets on all ATVs, under 18yrs old on SxSs.

This is the best place we have stayed at yet. I have never seen a house so well stocked. The house is super clean. Communication with Barbara was the best as well. She is the best! Mountain Getaway

This is the best rental experience we have had! The location, property, and host are above and beyond what you could want in a vacation. We spent 4 days in the area riding our sxs. Perfect location for this, beautiful mountain setting. The hosts have the rental stocked with everything you can think of to make you feel like it’s home away from home and they know the area very well and are more than willing to help you find what you are looking for.we will be back!!

WHAT A GEM!!

The hospitality was over the top!! This house had more amenities than my own home, from fishing equipment, snacks, laundry detergents, the charger adaptor for every phone, movies, to the homemade ICE CREAM maker! Close to all trails and town. Great location and very quiet! Highly recommend. Plus Barb is knowledgeable and knows anything and everything about the town. Great Host!!! We will be back!

Tacket Creek trails

We travel frequently and have utilized both VBRO and hotel accommodations. This property is without a doubt the ABSOLUTE BEST as far as amenities. They provided everything one could imagine to make the vacation special. This included ingredients for homemade ice cream, smores, Kurig coffee, laundry detergent, tooth brushes, games and much more. All of our party were completely blown away by the thoughtfulness this owner put into making anyone's vacation something special. We would definitely utilize this property again. 10/10. Highly recommend!

This house is so stocked, you only need to bring your food! She has it TOTALLY prepped. Listing description is accurate. Phone signal is spotty, but that's OK (for us). Nice little place for 8 ppl to be comfy.

This rental was a well stocked and clean place. It is about as remote as you can get in Tn and still be in your car. The beds where very comfortable and it was warm since we stayed there in January. Barb was interesting to talk to also. Thanks Barb

We loved all of the little extras that were provided: extra towels for the dogs and atvs, smores supplies, charger port with all types of chargers, etc. She even had stuff for us to celebrate New Years since we were there New Years Eve. Also, the place smelled wonderful!

Great place to stay! Close to trails!

We chose this house based on the location and the ATV trails in the area. The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was great. She had everything we could ever need I’ve never stayed at a house that was so well stocked. The only downfall was not having WiFi but there was plenty of other stuff to do. There was plenty of parking for 3 trucks and trailers. She had towels just for wiping down our sxs and even had an outside hose to rinse off our windshields. Overall we had a great time and would happily stay here again.
