The hotel has really good view of the volcano and the room are spacious and comfortable. Also the swimming pool and hot tub were great. It also has a small gym, which is bonus, but which would benefit from an update. Service, at front desk and restaurant were very nice and attentive. However: 1- The wifi at the room did not work at all. 2- windows were not fully covered and therefore sunlight will came in very early and disrupt your sleep (if we need to sleep in). 3. No fridge in the room. 4- Breakfast was more like a snack than an actual breakfast. 5- If you need ice or hot water you need to get it from the restaurant, which closes at 9am.

The place truly grows on you. While the property is a bit dated, the people more than make up for it with their warmth and helpfulness. We stayed in a chalet overlooking the volcano, and on a clear day the view was simply enviable. The breakfast staff goes out of their way to make mornings pleasant, and the front desk team is consistently friendly and supportive, contributing greatly to a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Driving from the gate to the actual building should clearly be marked with some type of nigh devices so cars coming in-out at night can see clearly. There is a season where the aprox 2km from the gate to the building is heavily foggy and very dark.

The problem was front desk people they are working till 9 p.m after 9 if u need something or anything happened no one is there to help u. I was insid a room for 2 night water was all over the bed and floor, and bed was wet. After 2 night i was sleep to that kind a room they chang my room last night to another room. And even they didn't refund my money for that 2 night when i was sleeping to the cold atea and wet bed, and wel floor. And price i paid for this place it was too expensive, i saw so many good hotel, even they have hot spring with the lest prices than here.

I love the location , the views of the volcano , the eco friendliness , the staff was amazing , the room cleaning was very good kuddos to mine but I cant remember the name. However this place needs some remodeling in the rooms, it looks old and outdated , thanks god for the view. The amenities inside the room was ok , small kitchenette with some supplies coffee etc , the bathroom outdated it seriously need a touch. I stayed on chalet 102 right in the top of the mountain. Thank you

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Hotel Arsenal Lodge. I couldn’t get enough of all the pretty flowers all over the property and the room with the breathtaking views of the volcano! We were a family of 5 and the room was spacious and comfortable. The property is family run and felt very welcoming from the moment I checked in. The owner was so kind to make a beautiful bouquet for my mom’s 70th birthday and arrival to the hotel. I really wanted a bouquet with local flowers and couldn’t really it online. I was so ecstatic when I saw the bouquet with tropical flowers. I’m still touched by this, thank you Mrs Terry. The property is a gem for nature lovers. 100% recommend.
