Older hotel that has been remodeled. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and breakfast was delicious. My only complaint were the doors. The chain fell off at one point and the lock could easily be picked.

The bungalows are a bit rustic, which I loved. My bungalow was very clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and has a great shower. The AC works well. There’s an area by the sink to hang clothes. The refrigerator is spacious. The desk was perfect for me to set up my laptop. I needed to borrow an adapter from the front desk, which was no problem. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay there again.

This hotel has about eight cabins in the back and then a row of hotel rooms in front of it, and then the pools in front of that. The volcano can be seen directly from the four furthest cabins from the office. You can also see the volcano from the pool and they have a very large hot tub where you could sit and see the volcano as well. The beds and the pillows are not very good. The shower was very nice hot large showerhead. they clean the rooms every day provided us with new towels made the beds the furthest cabin that we stayed in had a table on the porch with two rocking chairs so you could sit outside. There was a lot of animal activity through the night maybe bats or birds or mice in the ceiling running around that part did freak us out a little bit but in the morning there’s hummingbirds all across the front of the porch. The breakfast all right I would recommend sticking with the fresh fruits and eggs to order. The staff was also very nice here.

Private cabin. Great quiet location behind souvenir shop and busy road. Great breakfast and lunch service.pool and hot tub was a great place to relax after a day of sight seeing.

The rooms are a little outdated but that didn’t bother us. They were clean and comfortable. When we drove in and saw it was behind a souvenir shop it made me a little nervous but the grounds are lovely, the view of the volcano beautiful and it was surprisingly quiet even with all the commotion in the shopping area. The breakfast and overall value were great. The only thing we were disappointed about was the hot tub. We actually booked it because it had one but the water was warm not hot so we couldn’t even get in.

This was an incredible stay! We stayed three nights in one of the cabins which was spacious, clean and cozily furnished. The view of the Arenal Volcano is spectacular, breakfast is delicious and many restaurants are close by. The staff members were attentive and super helpful.
