Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa offers 105 air-conditioned accommodations with minibars and safes. 32-inch plasma televisions come with cable channels.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa during our stay from September 30th to October 2nd. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautifully the resort blends into its lush natural surroundings. The thermal springs were absolutely stunning, crystal clear, surrounded by vibrant greenery, and perfectly maintained. Relaxing in the warm pools while listening to the sounds of nature was truly unforgettable. The stepped waterfalls and tropical landscaping made it feel like a private paradise. Everything was so serene, and we loved exploring the different pools, each with its own temperature and atmosphere. Our room was elegant, modern, and very comfortable. The wooden furnishings and nature-inspired decor created a warm, relaxing environment that fit perfectly with the resort’s natural beauty. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail in both design and cleanliness. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Overall, our experience at Tabacón was beyond our expectations, a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and nature. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Arenal area and hope to return again someday!

Magic

from the moment that we arrived at the resort, it was beautiful. Everything was perfect. We did go in high rain season and to be honest the rains didn't even affect us beautiful comfortable room. We traveled with our 11-year-old daughter and had so much fun she wanted to keep the robe that they left in the room. That's how much she loved it. you will not be disappointed in this location or resort.

Save your money. I stayed several places in La Fortuna and this one is not worth the money. Room isn't as described, staff was not helpful and actually act as though you're a bother, food just OK, etc. Seriously, this is the worse place I stayed in La Fortuna.

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the Tabacón Team took it from there. After a long journey in, we arrived at an enthusiastic Bell Staff that quickly had us unloaded and onto a golf cart to whisk us away to our room. The entire welcoming process set a marvelous tone for the next few days. Every interaction with each staff member left us with a memorable impression. The profession of hospitality is not lost here. The restaurants are well-staffed, and the food is excellent. Breakfast each morning was a treat of Costa Rican and other international flavors. Try it all. The Spa team was the best we have experienced on any continent. Their technique, rapport, and amenities are not to be missed. We treated ourselves to the couples massage that was followed by our own personal hot tub. The property is immaculate and well-maintained. You are the very edge of the forest, where you can witness all manner of flora and fauna. We were so impressed that we will be bringing all 12 of us next time. Thank you.

The gold standard for what hotels should be. Our stay at Tabacon was flawless. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are excellent. Our room was nice and spacious with a great view. And last but not least, the thermal pools, absolutely amazing. My wife and I cannot stop telling our friends and family how amazing Tabacon is and we recommend it to everyone.
