Windansea Retreat is part of a duplex that has been completely renovated both inside and out.

The Retreat is a one bedroom, one bath home that sits just blocks from the famous Windansea Beach.

Pulling up to the duplex, Windansea Retreat is located on the right-hand side with a very large driveway, native garden and private front patio. This unit has 1 parking spot on the far-left side of the driveway. The right-side tandem parking will be saved for the adjoining cottage.

Once inside through the Ocean Blue front door you will be delighted by the warmth and modern feel of the unit.

The living room has a comfortable, queen size sofa sleeper, Smart TV and dining area for 4.

The kitchen which has been fully renovated comes complete with dishwasher and all new appliances.

There is also a breakfast island that is perfect for a casual meal or glass of wine while chatting with the cook!

The bedroom features a King size bed with Smart TV and plenty of closet space.

The bathroom with its ocean blue tile in the walk-in shower, is modern, clean and very chic.

The piece de resistance is the back patio with outdoor kitchen.

Plenty of comfortable seating, a fire pit and lots of privacy for summer bbq’s.

The rocky shore of Windansea Beach is perhaps best known for its beautiful scenery and surf breaks created by underwater reefs.

Stroll down to the white sand beaches and lay out in front of the sandstone rocks for a relaxing day at the beach.

If you feel like a short 15-minute walk you can find yourself in the heart of La Jolla Village amongst some of the finest restaurants San Diego has to offer as well as boutiques, galleries, yoga studios and coffee shops.

Windansea Retreat is a place you will want to return to year after year.

This home has a maximum occupancy of 4. Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Sleeps 2 in beds and there is a pull-out sofa in the living room.



This home is part of a duplex. You have 1 shared common wall with the adjoining 2 bedroom cottage. Each unit has their own private yard area and entrance.



This home is pet friendly.



For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes - left to bark or be disruptive to neighbors. If you plan on spending time away from your pets please find a doggy day care or crate your pet. You can call our office for recommendations or check the Welcome Book.



There will be a $40/Night pet fee if brining a Pet. For longer stays you can inquire about our flat weekly and monthly rates.



This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Quiet hours start at 9pm and end at 8am.



Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. The property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that you and our whole community can enjoy a restful night's sleep. We are dedicated to protecting our guests and neighbors from bothersome levels of noise. In an effort to do so, this property is equipped with NoiseAware technology. This is a great rental. Newly remodeled, very clean, thoughtfully designed with everything you need. Everything works as it should. Lovely indoor and outdoor space in a wonderful quiet Windansea neighborhood. Will be back.

This place is very modern and nicely set up/decorated. The neighborhood was relaxing and very quiet. It is managed by a property rental company which hinders the real time communication you get with other properties that have an owner that can respond faster. I ran into a few hiccups that weren’t answered until the next day or after I found a resolution.

Very clean property and well stocked with kitchenware. The backyard is lovely. We enjoyed everything about this place except for the inability to turn off the porch and yard lights, which were so bright in the bedroom that we couldn't sleep and had to drape a dark blanket over the blinds.

Beautiful property for a relaxing time. The place is nicely appointed wjth kitchen needs, beach chairs, umbrella and blankets. Air conditioning worked well and needed at times. Backyard is gorgeous and comfortable for eating, reading and relaxing. Small mixup at check-in was taken care of immediately by host. My daughter slept on nice pull out couch. A family of four with small kids would be comfortable here. .5 mile walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again
