Cute place for two

Characterful gite big enough for two but would be a squeeze for more than this. Cleanand well maintained. Ideally located for exploring the Tarn Gorge. Yves is a very helpful and friendly host.

Een authentieke residentie in het hart van de Gorges du Tarn. Zeer geschikt als uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan de kleurrijke oude stadjes en de schitterende kloven en Causses, dichtbij kanoverhuur. De gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de communicatie was helder. We hebben hier als gezin een zeer fijne tijd gehad.

Ein kleines, aber hübsches ortstypisches Haus aus Stein. Das Dorf hat genau die richtige Größe: Bäcker, Metzger, einige Lokale, aber kein Rummel. Außer am Dorffest, aber das gehört dazu. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kennt die Gegend sehr gut.Die Landschaft ist genial und das Dorf gut gelegen, um Ausflüge auf den Causses, in der Schlucht oder bis Millau zu machen. Angler: keine einzige Forelle, nur Weißfisch.

Zum Glück schön kühle Wohnung!

Es war heiß, Wetterkarten rot/lila. Wobei, eigentlich waren alle meine Urlaube in Südfrankreich so.Trotzdem gut, sich bei Bedarf in die kühle Wohnung zurückziehen zu können.Man kann aber auch wunderbar im Tarn schwimmen.Ich bin dort auch 900 Km Rad mit 12000 Höhenmetern gefahren (NICHT Elektro)Grandiose Landschaft!Geier in der Luft und Forellen im Tarn.Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber.Der Bäcker in dem Dorf hat auch alles andere zum täglichen Leben.Die 1000 Km Anfahrt waren es wert.

Superbe situation pouur visiter les ggoirges du. Tarn

Très bon accueil de notre hôte Yves qui nous a fait des "petits cadeaux". Emplacement idéal. Le gîte mériterait un "petit rajeunissement " et un bon fauteuil pour se reposer, le soir, en rentrant. Et alors, il serait parfait😃

Une petite semaine à la Malène. Tout était super. Merci à Mr Fages pour son accueil et ses conseils tout au long de notre séjour pour que celui ci nous plaise.( et merci également pour les bonnes tomates de son jardin). Séjour très agréable malgré une météo capricieuse

Le bâtiment ancien, très bien rénové et aménagé est agréable bien qu'un peu sombre. La situation géographique est idéale au centre des gorges. Le village est très beau et propose outre les ballades en barques, des locations de canoës, une boulangerie au très bon pain qui fait épicerie (de dépannage mais il n'y a rien d'autre à moins de 30 km), une boucherie et plusieurs restaurants.

Séjour reposant

Nous avons apprécié le garage proposé par le propriétaire qui est très accueillant et sympa. A cette époque seule la boulangerie/épicerie est ouverte à temps partiel. L'exposition à l'est réduit les temps d'ensoleillement. La chambre est originale par contre il ne faut pas être trop grand. L'avantage de cette période est qu'il n'y a pas trop de monde dans les gorges du Tarn.

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances à La Malène !!!! Mr FAGES est d'une très grande gentillesse, il nous a bien conseillé sur les endroits à ne pas louper !!!! Le gîte est parfait et très bien situé. C'est calme et reposant ... Et dépaysement total assuré !!! A refaire impérativement !!!!

Un gîte dans un superbe village au bord du Tarn

La maison, très au calme, est très proche des plages du Tarn mais aussi des commerces et des restaurants. L'accueil du propriétaire est parfait et de très bon conseil. Un séjour parfait !
