Fantastic Weekend Getaway

From the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out, we felt like this hotel was very special. We stayed in the luxury suite and it didn't disappoint. The room and amenities were perfect. The front desk attendants were very informative and made sure you had everything you needed. They even have a golf cart that you can use to view the train overlook near the train tracks. The facility is very clean, the rooms smell fresh, there's ample parking, there's a pool, laundry, and of course the service is fantastic. We'll be staying again.

The True Train Railway

Warm welcome from front desk, clerk Brain , was superb. Had some trouble getting into room with the key. He assisted me and I am very grateful for that. Great customer service. And he was very knowledgeable on the train information. Much appreciative.the pillows could be a little softer though. Everything else was great!

A Hidden Gem !

The parking was easy to access from the main road. The foyer was welcoming and the staff was friendly and provided a wealth of knowledge. We stayed in a themed room with a private jacuzzi. The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. So much interesting history hanging on the walls. A Mexican restaurant and Dollar General within walking distance.

Very fun train themed hotel. Needed a place close to Kirksville. Will be coming back and bringing our younger kids. Enjoyed a golf cart drive to the train lookout and playing Ticket to Ride in the lobby area.

Staff was extremely friendly and room was super clean. I didn’t know I paid for a museum self guided tour of the local railroad, as well as a hotel room. Any place good enough for music star John Anderson is good enough for me, he stayed there. I’ll be back!
