Island Fox - Home nestled in the Woods with Screened-in Porch!

Nestled on 16.5 acres Island Fox is the perfect house to get away from it all! The home is meticulously maintained and features a wonderful screen porch overlooking the woods. The yard has an outdoor fire pit to enjoy the beautiful Madeline Island evenings. You will find a full kitchen at Island Fox with a breakfast bar as you walk in the home. Upstairs features a king bed with a day bed in the corner; and, downstairs there are full size bunk beds off of the screen porch. Come relax and enjoy Island Fox!

Condiments (including salt & pepper, ketchup, mustard, oils etc. - WI Department of Health & Human Services requires all condiments must be removed after each rental)

Great stay at island Fox

Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. All in all a great stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

Madeline Island Vacation

This Vrbo is a perfect location- and easy bike ride to the town and state park. We loved having the screened in porch for the evenings when the bugs were bad. Peaceful cabin with lots of wildlife

A homey place on Madeline Island

This Americana-rich get-away place has a spacious ground floor opening to an open loft of immense size -- the master bedroom with 1/2 bath. On the bottom floor is a bedroom (with a full-sized bunkbed) and a screened porch with two additional fold-up beds (still comfortable!). The kitchen has an island with bar chairs for four. The picnic table on the porch sits six. The location is really hard to beat -- near La Pointe (a bike ride or a quick trip for ice cream) and also on the way to Big Bay Town Beach or State Park. It's far off the road so quiet. We saw a bear cross the road 1/2 mile away so when the owners say that no food should be left on the screened porch, they mean it :-). Will definitely return to this cozy place.

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway during the Covid crisis. It was a beautiful, warm and surprisingly spacious cabin.

Woodsy Retreat

Spacious home with high ceilings and lovely screened in porch. Very nice yard with a fire pit that we put to use, however, be warned to bring lots of bug spray. The mosquitoes were fierce. The only thing we would have changed was having the home aired out. It was rather musty smelling, like it had been closed up for a while. We had to open all the windows and run fans to air it out. It did get better by day two. We had a really lovely stay.
